I believe Taipei 101 was the tower that beat our Sears (Willis) Tower in height (taller roof than us). Even so, I think our Chicago giant wouldn't want payback, let alone of this type.

No no no the building is not "lousy" at all.
Our Taipei 101 can be anything but lousy. Ever since it was built, it was the most beautiful, elegant and spectacular building I've ever seen.
The design is based on the shape of a sword rooted in Taipei's heart. It is 1,667 feet tall, the spire thrust straight into the clouds, like a sword in the fog. Such building, in my own opinion, is the opposite symbol of both ugly and lousy. [link]
