Ok, I need to say this. This is good. BUT! If you remove garbage, clothes, that wood things on rail-tracks etc. from picture, add some fantasy stuff (magic stuff) add contrast between light and shadow more brightness to green and it will look like fantasy city. IMHO of course. It is still goes to fav though
oh gosh I love this so much! I would love to see this place. I've seen gifs of places like this, where the people who live there hear the train coming, they'll pull off they're stuff and move out of the way then put it back when the train leaves lol amazing... this would also look amazing in 3d.... very nice work
This is a gorgeous painting: the colors and the use of light and shadow are truly lovely, and the detail is exquisite. As for the scene itself, the first impression that it gives is one of almost otherworldly beauty - a kind of fairyland - so that the viewer only gradually becomes aware that it is a scene of extreme poverty as well. I get the sense that each of these homes, with their clotheslines and their tiny gardens of potted plants, is kept with great care and pride - and very little in the way of material resources. It is humbling to realize that there are places in the world where people, by necessity, do so much with so little.
