Ocean City by JonasDeRo Ocean City by JonasDeRo
I usually don't upload my commercial works, but just wanted to share one with you now.
Sorry for the low-res but I'm not allowed to share the full res files.

This is a matte painting I'm working on, it's the opening shot of a video I'm working on as assignment. The final version will have animated light rays, ocean waves, mist, birds, etc..

The structure is inspired by Mont-St-Michel (only a 6 hour drive from where i live), if you don't know it look it up, yes Lord of the Rings type environments do exist! ;)

I visited Mont St. Michel two years ago. Truly a maginficent piece of architecture. That was the basis for Minus Tirith, if I'm not mistaken.
