I know I haven't posted in quite a while. That's because I've been traveling and doing lot of work projects, so less time to paint.

But I just got my new computer and Photoshop CS5 with it's awesome new paint tools, so here's a speedpaint inspired by my recent visit to Hong Kong.

It's my dream to visit Hong Kong one day... I bet 九龍 (Kowloon) is a lot like Taiwan. This picture reminds me of the nooks and crannies along the streets of Taiwan, 永和 (Yonghe).

I love scenes like this one! The detail you manged to put in to this is wonderful! I adore all the posters/flyers and the graffiti~ The rough stone, the random bit of tile on the wall, the exposed pipes, the sacks piled up along the side, it all adds so much life to the setting! I really enjoy how the sun shines though from the top right~
